Unlike many others we want to provide you with the highest pricing transparency possible.

Our pricing structure and project bids are transparent - before any work is started our clients will get a written proposal (quote) that lists tasks, defines scope & schedule, and sets a price.

One-Stop Fulfillment
If we find significant portions of the project that deal with tasks which are not directly part of the design & development process like language translations or data entry then we will apply typical market rates and itemize such tasks on the bids. Depending on the case we will outsource and coordinate tasks so that our clients will have a single contact point.

Hourly billing, fix price rates, retainer
Many of our projects are based on fixed price bids. To identify your specific project requirements is key to a successful project completion and also key ingredient for the quote. We calculate your project based on the estimated hours needed to design & complete it, the requested technologies, and other specifics of your project.

Ongoing maintenance for websites is a good example where "work on retainer" makes sense. If the maintenance tasks and frequency can be defined clearly we are happy to provide you with an offer for work on retainer.

The 'Mercedes' Analogy
In recent years we used following analogy to bring the relationship price & service quality to the point:
"Web Design and Software & Web Development is like designing and building a car for different types of customers: some want a 'Mercedes', others a value (economy) car - both cars will drive you from A to B but offer different comfort and therefore the price differs significantly."

How to get started with a project:

1) Please Contact us and describe your project.
2) We will discuss your project idea briefly (initial consultation usually via email, phone, or in person) and clarify questions.
3) We will provide you with a written proposal including project definition, deadlines, pricing. The proposal and the above mentioned initial consultation are free of charge for the client.
4) After you and we feel comfortable and satisfied with the project definition & the time-line you'll receive some formal paperwork from us and we will ask you for the necessary down payment. The down payment covers initial costs as well as the creative thinking process & design phase - a down payment makes also sure that the client is serious about the project.
5)Then the project starts... we will visualize our design and strategy ideas and make sure that you feel comfortable with the direction we are heading. Mood & Concept boards are among the means that provide the client with a very good idea about the project.
