Pricing transparency

Our pricing structure and project bids are transparent - before any work is started our clients will get a written proposal (quote) that lists tasks, defines scope & schedule, and sets a price.

Experience Factor

We work fast and quality-oriented because we have more than a decade experience. That also means we don't work for 'student' or 'nephew / grandchild' rates. If you are just looking for 'cheap' and don't see the relation price--quality... we are not the right fit for your project.
There's not much more to say: Quality has always its price. We offer high reliability, diligence, professional work ethics and are looking for clients who have same values and appreciate such things.
A man (a woman) - a word - a handshake? Well, we mean it in a symbolic way, it might seem old-fashioned, but you get the idea about our philosophy in this area.

One-Stop Fulfillment


From time to time a project must deal with tasks like language translations, copywriting, or data entry. Often we will outsource and coordinate such tasks to professional, specialized 3rd party firms but you will keep us as your single contact point. Costs for such tasks will be itemized and depend on the task.

Hourly billing, fix price rates, retainer

Many of our projects are based on fixed price bids. To identify specific project requirements is key to a successful project completion and also key ingredient for the quote. We calculate projects based on the estimated hours needed to plan, design & complete it, the requested technologies, and other specifics of the project.

Ongoing maintenance for websites is a good example where "work-on-retainer" makes sense. If the maintenance tasks and frequency can be clearly defined we can go that route. Work-on-retainer will be based on a discounted hourly rate.

If sporadic maintenance of the website meets your needs better and you like to be billed on a case-by-case basis, or monthly basis, then we can do this as well.

What are small, medium, large changes? The majority of the 'small' changes which we perform are between 1/2 hr to 4 hrs. 'Medium' changes are ca. 1/2 day to 2 days hrs but usually involve already more complex modifications. 'Big' changes are those which will take several days.
Please keep in mind that the common reason for changes is the wish to fine-tune text content, add information, replace images, and so on. Unless you wish to add entire sections, product lines, etc., such a text / image update can be done quite fast and are usually small changes.
Costs for web site maintenance will not haunt you down the road, costs are always in a reasonable range!
Low maintenance costs will more likely encourage you to make frequent changes to your site. This is the right way to go because a web site is not a printed book that must remain unchanged until the next edition!

How to get started with a project:


1) Please Contact us and describe your project or send your requirement catalog.
2) Free one-hour consultation: We will discuss your project idea briefly (initial consultation usually via phone, or in person) and clarify questions.
3) We will provide you with a written estimate.
4) If you are ok with the estimate you'll receive some formal paperwork with project details, a road map (project phases, schedule, etc.), and the terms. We will ask you for the necessary down payment as well. The down payment covers initial costs as well as the creative thinking process & design phase - a down payment makes also sure that the client is serious about the project.
5) Then the project starts... we will visualize our design and strategy ideas and make sure that you feel comfortable with the direction we are heading. Mood & Concept boards are among the means that provide the client with a very good idea about the project.

Hourly Base Rate:

All tasks are calculated based on an hourly rate - however, for many projects we can provide you a fixed price quote once we have enough information about your project.

Additional services:
Hosting: We arrange the necessary hosting for you: from "Starter" servers to Dedicated / VPS servers.
Pricing depends on your requirements but starts at ca. $15 per month.

Domain Name Registration: depends on TLD (.com, .info, etc.). Costs vary and are charged by the domain name registry - approx. $10 to $20 PER YEAR.
You can purchase the domain yourself including creating the registrar account OR we will set-up your account for a nominal fee (47.50 USD one-time) and point the name servers to your web. This fee is waived if we create a new website for you.

Billing Time Increments

  • Web Maintenance on web sites which we have created: minimum 30 minutes; thereafter billed in 15 min. increments. Example: Adding or changing a text paragraph on a page including upload, test, and communication can be as low as $40 because it can probably be done in 1/2 hr.
  • All other tasks: minimum 1 hr; thereafter billed in 15 min. increments
