Customer's goal was to create a website with a centralized landing page for all of his three independent companies that should be presented under 'one roof'.
The layout & design should emphasize that the companies are under central management. So, we created a landing page which allows the user to select the
company - the companies share the same layout but can be differentiated by the applied color scheme.
Technology: The website is a PHP site built with Dreamweaver CS3. It utilizes nested DWT pages for the different site sections which allows centralized
modifications of common areas. Site content is held in XML files.

This movie deploys different Web Services including an asynchronous proxy Web
Service.
Weather forecast is retrieved from an own backend application/web service which
buffers different weather information, resources, and formats of real-time weather
data that is retrieved in fixed time intervals or on demand from another Web Service.
The movie can also interact with Html via movie parameters which makes it more dynamic
regarding different callers. An alternative version which interacts via JavaScript
is possible.

This Silverlight 3 application is based on the above Flash version of the Weather Live Forecast.
It was rewritten in Silverlight 3 / C# to showcase the capability of Silverlight. The application reads settings & locations from
different web locations and retrieves the weather data from a Web Service that buffers live weather data from a NOAA web service.
Silverlight's built-in LINQ and LINQ to XML capability make XML data processing a pleasure.
